Master Safety’s Operational Procedures and Guidelines.
 
Dear valued (future) client, thank you for purchasing a security system from Master Safety Enterprises Ltd. (MSE). Please note the following procedures which regulate our client – company relationship.
Installation
All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to MSE standard practice. Any alteration or deviation from the quotation accepted by you involving extra costs and / or time will be done only upon written or verbal orders, and will become an extra charge for equipment and / or time over and above the proposed cost. All work is contingent upon strikes, accidents, or delays beyond our control. If specified equipment is not available for whatever reason, substitute equipment of the same, or exceeding quality and specification will be accepted as replacement. If in the course of installation walls have to be cut open in order to lay conduit or cable, MSE will, after the work is done, close those openings provisionally. Any proper rendering and painting or wall papering must be done by professionals, as we are not. Cost incurred to render, paint or wall paper will be borne by the client. MSE quotations are usually valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise indicated. An installation is usually a one-time job which may or may not take more than one till Five days. If an installation is divided in more than one job, such as cabling first, part equipment installation later and full installation at the end, as decided by the client, extra transport cost will be calculated for each trip to the job site, over the quoted installation fee. When a jobsite is cabled by MSE and on return to finalise the work we find that cabling is removed or cut short by whomever, we will charge extra for re-cabling. Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, ..…… working days per job / location in Pattaya City (excluding Sundays and public holidays). Projects outside Pattaya City are ……. working days per job / location.
Working hours
Working hours are from Monday to Saturday from 09.00 till 12.00 and from 13.00 till 17.00 hrs. MSE is closed on Sunday and all Thai holidays and substitute holidays. Outside these hours telephone calls cannot be received.
Warrantee
Equipment and cabling is warranted for 12 months from the date of installation hand over. Servicing the installed equipment is free of charge the first 3 months from the day of hand over of the system, after this period the standard service fee applies. For systems installed outside of Chonburi travel cost and lodging cost will be calculated and added. If a system of MSE is installed utilizing existing 3rd party wiring and or equipment, warrantee will be for the MSE installed equipment and wiring only. If the MSE installed equipment and wiring malfunction because of previous installed 3rd party equipment and wiring, warrantee will not apply. If a 3rd party, without express written permission from MSE, repairs, refurbishes or in any way disturbs the by MSE installed system the warrantee is null and void, this may includes the 24 Hr alarm monitoring services at the discretion of MSE. If any fees or payments due to MSE by the client are not paid in time the warrantee and monitoring of said system may be suspended until such payment is made.
Service / Maintenance and Repair
Response time in Pattaya City is usually within 24 hours from the moment of notification, in areas outside Pattaya but within Banglamung District may be longer. Other provinces upon agreement between both parties only. All notifications of service or repair requests must be done during MSE office hours only, by telephone and SMS message, or E-mail. Notify us as soon as possible and not after a few days on Friday 5 o’clock please. Detailed information, which lights or symbols are visible on the keypad, as to what went wrong, when, and why is much needed for us to give first aid through the telephone and to help you best. A “my system is not working” only is not sufficient and may delay the return of the proper working of your system. Consumables such as light bulbs and batteries are not warranted.
Emergencies
Urgent services and repairs required outside mentioned in “Working hours” above. Telephone calls can not be received outside our normal office hours. Only in serious emergencies can you send an SMS message to our mobile number, please be detailed as requested above. We will endeavour to contact you with a solution. If staff is available and has to be send outside office hours an extra fee has to be paid. (see below) For monitoring clients, abusing the system by setting off an alarm by whatever means just to get attention from the monitoring provider carries a mandatory fine of Baht 2,000 and may result in disconnection from the monitoring services. Monitoring clients are requested to call the service provider immediately when making a mistake or false alarm. If monitoring the system is halted for whatever reason restitution of (partial) monitoring fees paid will not be refunded.
Basic First Aid ….. Read your user manual first when the system is handed over……. It may help avoiding panicking.
Problem: one (or more) zones malfunction so the system cannot be switched on.
o By-pass the zone or zones according to your manual you received when the system was handed over, then set the system as usual.
Problem: System starts going off by itself even when it is not switched on (set).
o This is usually caused by a 24 Hr. zone such as a Smoke Sensor or a tamper wire. Try to switch off the system with your user code. If this does not solve the problem, remove mains power and battery power from the control panel and notify us during working hours.
Problem: A beep beep sound comes from the keypad.
o Most probably your telephone line is interrupted. Ask your provider to fix the problem. Use your user code to stop this sound for four hours, repeat when necessary.
Payments / Cost
Repairs within 12 months of date of purchase are free, if not caused by misuse or negligence by the client. A broken cable in the ceiling because of rodents is not considered a warrantee case and carries a service / repair cost. To keep your premises free of vermin and rodents is your responsibility.
Service visits cost Baht 1,250 a trip excluding faulty equipment cost.
Outside of Pattaya service visits cost Baht 1,250 a trip excluding faulty equipment cost. An additional cost of Baht 20 / Kilometer will be charged.
Emergency calls outside working hours, will be charged three times the above service cost except for the Kilometer charge.
Additional transport cost per trip is Baht 1,000, see “Installation” above.
